That's a Wrap!
There is no doubt that August is my favourite month of the year. Not only because it is my birthday month, but also because it marks the start of warmer weather, and so many authors seem to release new books in August.
I didn’t manage to get a copy of Jennifer Hillier’s Heart of Glass, but I did get Lisa Jewell’s new book, and the incredible new book from Chris Carter arrived just in time for my birthday. What’s not to love about such a rewarding month?
This month, I added fifteen new reviews to the blog, many of which resulted in me adding even more books to my already overflowing TBR shelf. This is becoming a slight problem, considering my bookshelves are already double-stacked and I don’t have much more space for the addition of more bookshelves! But that’s a problem for another day.
If you missed any of my August reviews, here is a quick recap:
BOOK OF THE MONTH
Hide and Seek by Chris Carter
My book of the month is no surprise. Not only have I been following the Robert Hunter series, but this standalone novel from Chris Carter has simply cemented his place as my favourite author at the moment.
Yes, you guessed it! This month I have chosen Hide and Seek by Chris Carter. If you haven’t read this book yet, what are you waiting for?
As always, a huge thank you to everyone who supports the blog, as well as to the authors and publishers who have shared review copies with me. Your support means so much and is what keeps me excited to continue sharing my reading adventures.
Reading and the blog are my first loves, and if my day job didn’t take up quite so much of my time, I would probably spend all day, every day lost in a world of fiction. And honestly, that doesn’t sound like a bad way to spend my time!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
