That's a Wrap!
The end of July leaves me just one book away from reaching my Goodreads reading goal, and I am thrilled about that—especially since the next few months are going to be incredibly busy at my day job. I always hate it when work interferes with my reading time, but unfortunately that’s just part of life.
On the bright side, August is my birthday month, and if tradition is anything to go by, my family will spoil me with plenty of new books to add to my ever-growing TBR. I certainly won’t be complaining about that!
July saw the addition of fifteen new reviews on the blog. If you missed any of them, here is a quick recap:
BOOK OF THE MONTH
Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide A Body by Jennifer Holdich
Choosing my Book of the Month was incredibly easy this time around. There was one new release that I simply could not wait to get my hands on. After struggling to find a copy, Jonathan Ball Publishers kindly came to the rescue with a review copy, and I’m so glad they did because it turned out to be one of the most entertaining books I’ve read this year.
Looking ahead to August, I already have three blog tour stops planned, and I’ll also be reviewing Hide and Seek by Chris Carter and It Could Have Been Her by Lisa Jewell. I’m also hoping to get my hands on early copies of Mary Kubica’s It’s Not Her and Jennifer Hillier’s Heart of Glass. If I do, you can definitely expect reviews of those as well.
I hope you all have a fantastic reading month filled with plenty of five-star reads. Until next time…Happy Reading!
