May in a Nutshell

That's a Wrap!

Winter has certainly snuck up on us this month, and I have made it my mission to hide away from the cold whenever possible. If there is one good thing about winter, it is that I always seem to find more time to read. I suppose there really is a silver lining after all.

I shared fourteen new reviews on the blog this month. While many of these were backlist reads, there were also a few exciting newer titles mixed in. I only had one blog tour this month, but I will definitely be making up for that in June.

If you missed any of May’s posts, here is a quick recap of the books I reviewed:

BOOK OF THE MONTH

Too Old For This by Samantha Downing

I cannot remember the last time it was this easy to choose a Book of the Month. While I absolutely loved Heartbreaker by Jude O’Reilly and happily awarded it five stars, my final pick was Too Old For This by Samantha Downing. I am a huge fan of her work, and this book was yet another fantastic read from an author who never disappoints.

As always, I must thank the publishers who continue to support me and share ARCs with me. I have been lucky enough to receive some wonderful hard copy books from Jonathan Ball Publishers this month, and those reviews will be heading your way very soon.

I hope you had a wonderful reading month and that June will be filled with exciting new books and memorable stories. Thank you, as always, for your support.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
