That’s a Wrap
With March at an end it is hard to believe that the first quarter of 2023 is done and dusted. I am not sure if it is just me, but this year is motoring away at full speed. I have been seriously concerned about not having enough time to read while my day job has taken up a lot more of my time lately. But flipping through my reading journal I am busy reading book 34 of the year. That means I am actually a little ahead of schedule since my general goal is 10 books a month. That makes me feel a little better.
I have a question for my fellow book bloggers, do you have a monthly reading goal? Leave a comment at the end of the post. I have recently started working on some archive reviews which I hope to start sharing soon. The plan is to have material to share when I am not reading new books fast enough.
I must thank all the regular blog visitors, your continued support always warms my heart.
If you did miss any of our March reviews, don’t worry, below is a quick look at what we have been up to this month. I hope you have added some of these titles to your TBR.
BOOK OF THE MONTH
Death of a Bookseller
by Alice Slater
A BOOKSHOP. A TRUE CRIME CASE. A DEADLY FRIENDSHIP.
THE UNMISSABLE DEBUT THRILLER.
Roach – bookseller, loner and true crime obsessive – is not interested in making friends. She has all the company she needs in her serial killer books, murder podcasts and her pet snail, Bleep.
That is until Laura joins the bookshop.
Smelling of roses, with her cute literary tote bags and beautiful poetry, she’s everyone’s new favourite bookseller. But beneath the shiny veneer, Roach senses a darkness within Laura, the same darkness Roach possesses.
As Roach’s curiosity blooms into morbid obsession, it becomes clear that she is prepared to infiltrate Laura’s life at any cost.
Thank you for stopping by. I have already started working on my April reviews and some brilliant reads are heading your way, so keep visiting.
A good month’s reading – my goal for this year is 80 books – currently busy with number 25!
