January Wrapped

That’s a Wrap!

31 January 2024

This month has been both exciting and extremely difficult. Those of you who have been following the blog will know that my daughter – Alicia – has been actively involved with the blog pretty much since I started it. Alicia finished school last year and decided to take a gap year in 2024. With the help of AuPair Care, she secured an aupair position in California and she left home for a year on the 22nd of January.

She had only been away for just over a week and already she has had loads of wonderful experiences. It is exciting to see her spread her wings and brave the unknown. I am feeling her absence and miss her more than I could have imagined possible.

With all the excitement we still managed to share 13 new reviews this month, two of them Buddy Read reviews.  Alicia also managed to share a small stockpile of reviews with me, so I have a couple that I will post in the next few months. (Until she has settled into her new home and starts sharing reviews with us again).

I loved that one of the first things she did when arriving was to visit the local Barnes and Noble. She already has a TBR shelf.

With that, here are the books we reviewed in January.

Once again, a big thank you to all the publishers who gave us ARC copies and to Anne Cater from Random Things Tours who keep introducing me to new-to-me authors. The biggest thank you goes to you, for visiting the blog and reading the reviews, your support has been amazing. We look forward to seeing you back here in February.

Feel free to share! Sharing is Caring!
