January in a Nutshell

That’s a Wrap!

The first month of the new year has come to an end, and what a whirlwind it has been! 2025 has started at full speed, not just on the blog but also with my safari business. Somehow, I’ve managed to juggle everything, and this year is already shaping up to be incredible. With trips to Dubai in February and Botswana in March, my reading time might take a hit, but I’m excited for the adventures ahead!

January on the Blog

We shared fourteen reviews this month, each featuring an incredible book. These stories have been my perfect escape after long days, and if you missed any, here’s a quick recap:

January Spotlight: The Robert Hunter Series

Back in August 2024, I started reading Chris Carter’s Robert Hunter series, and to say I’ve been hooked would be an understatement. While these books may not be for the faint of heart, they are brutal, clever, and absolutely unputdownable. If you enjoy dark, high-stakes thrillers, this series needs to be on your TBR.

Since my late start, I’ve powered through all thirteen books in the series, and I’m now eagerly awaiting the next instalment. It’s no surprise that my book of the month for January is The Death Watcher.

This five-star read is everything I love in a thriller—dark, twisty, and utterly gripping. Chris Carter proves once again why he’s a master of the genre. If you love gritty crime fiction with complex characters and razor-sharp plotting, The Death Watcher is an absolute must-read.

Thank you for visiting the blog—your support means the world! Here’s to another great month of reading. Until next time, happy reading!
