Meet Kitty Collins.
FRIEND. LOVER. KILLER.
He was following me. That guy from the nightclub who wouldn’t leave me alone.
I hadn’t intended to kill him of course. But I wasn’t displeased when I did and, despite the mess I made, I appeared to get away with it.
That’s where my addiction started…
I’ve got a taste for revenge and quite frankly, I’m killing it.
Official Summary

This book has been all over social media and I simply could not resist. I had to see what all the hype was about. While it’s not exactly the kind of book I normally reach for my curiosity got the better of me. Sadly, I battled to find a copy of this one. After some phone calls, I found one copy and raced to the bookstore to collect it and it jumped straight to the top of my TBR. (Apologies to all the other books lying waiting to be read.)
This book was a gruesome and glorious read that I could not race through fast enough. When you reach for this book, you can expect an entertaining read that is both deliciously dark and funny.
The author writes as if she is speaking to you. I loved the little side comments she added, allowing you an insight into the character’s thoughts. I enjoyed how everything Kitty did was questionable while her motives made them feel okay. I have added this author to my watch list, I look forward to seeing what she writes next. After reading How to Kill Men and Get Away with It, I will add her next book to my TBR, no questions asked.
When a guy follows Kitty Collins home from a night club she is annoyed that she has to be frightened, so she fights back and kills him. While it’s messy, she appears to get away with it, and she liked the feeling of standing up for herself. She liked it so much that it became an addiction and soon there are many more dead bodies.
This book stirs the question of right and wrong. While Kitty’s murdering habits are gruesome and graphic, they are always for a good cause. The men she kills are horrible people and as you read the story it is not hard to justify her behaviour. Until she gets it wrong.
Kitty Collins is a brilliant character. I loved this spoilt little rich girl. While she is privileged, she cares about other people and takes it upon herself to right some of the wrongs in the world. At the same time, she is completely psycho and you have to love some of her wacky thinking. I loved the things she wants to say – while knowing better than to say them. The author created a brilliant bad girl, who you cannot help but love.
This is one of my rare five-star reads this year so far. I loved every minute of reading this book. The best part about this book was leaving it on my desk at work and watching my male colleagues giving the cover the eye as they walked past my desk. (No-one said a word.)
If you are looking for a deliciously dark, gloriously gruesome read with lots of funny bits in between then you simply must add this book to your TBR. I look forward to reading Katy Brent’s next book (I hope there is a next one).
This is a fabulously entertaining read that I cannot recommend highly enough.
