If you have not heard this before – I am a huge Lisa Gardner fan. I have worked my way through fourteen of her books so far this year. And there is no doubt that Flora Dane is the best character she has ever invented….. Flora Dane is one of my three favourite fictions characters this year. I love her! Find Her is told from Flora Dane and DD Warren’s perspective and included a lot about Flora and her past.
Flora has taken it on herself to find missing student, Stacey Summers. She is on the prowl for the responsible predator and goes to extreme lengths to find who she is looking for. Perhaps this time she has gone too far. Now it is up to DD Warren to solve the mystery and save not only Stacey Summers, but Flora as well.
Lisa Gardner has won my heart with the books featuring Flora Dane. Since my first introduction to Flora, I found she struck a chord with me and I have been hunting for books where she is included ever since. Flora’s story, while I know its fiction has touched me. She is a powerful character who manages to bring tears to your eyes while you admire her strength and determination.
Normal I say something about my favourite character around about here, but ii think it is pretty clear that I am just a little obsessed with Flora Dane, there isn’t anyone else in this book that can compare. Sorry DD Warren.
Needless to say – I love this book. Find Her is one of my Top Five reads for 2020
If you are looking for a psychological thriller that will stay will you long after you have turned the last page, then this is the book for you!
Recommended as a very good read – if I used star ratings, then this would be a five star for sure!
