That's a Wrap!
As I’m writing this wrap-up, I’m looking out at a crisp blue sky. We’ve had stunning weather this month — none of the usual February heat we’re accustomed to — which has been such a welcome change. I’m also attending my very first book club meeting tonight… yes, I’ve joined a book club! I’m not entirely sure what to expect, but I’m definitely looking forward to some good bookish conversation.

I have been a little more harsh with my ratings this month. Perhaps because I am reading a lot more. But there was only one five-star read for this month.
This is an engaging, character-driven mystery with a strong sense of place and plenty of buried secrets to uncover. If you enjoy suspense novels about returning to a troubled past and communities hiding dark truths, this is definitely worth the read.
