It’s been ten years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared from Cooley Ridge without a trace. Back again to tie up loose ends and care for her ailing father, Nic is soon plunged into a shocking drama that reawakens Corinne’s case and breaks open old wounds long since stitched.
The decade-old investigation focused on Nic, her brother Daniel, boyfriend Tyler, and Corinne’s boyfriend Jackson. Since then, only Nic has left Cooley Ridge. Daniel and his wife, Laura, are expecting a baby; Jackson works at the town bar; and Tyler is dating Annaleise Carter, Nic’s younger neighbor and the group’s alibi the night Corinne disappeared. Then, within days of Nic’s return, Annaleise goes missing.
Told backwards—Day 15 to Day 1—from the time Annaleise goes missing, Nic works to unravel the truth about her younger neighbor’s disappearance, revealing shocking truths about her friends, her family, and what really happened to Corinne that night ten years ago.
Like nothing you’ve ever read before, All the Missing Girls delivers in all the right ways. With twists and turns that lead down dark alleys and dead ends, you may think you’re walking a familiar path, but then Megan Miranda turns it all upside down and inside out and leaves us wondering just how far we would be willing to go to protect those we love.

After finishing this book my book wish list has grown. I had this audiobook tucked away for quite some time and only recently started it. It took me roughly a week to work through this and I would suggest allocating more time for this when you start it. It’s a complicated story, told backwards and you need to remain focused. If you are planning on taking your time, the book might be a better option.
This tells the story of a young woman who returns home and is forced to face her past. It’s a gripping tale that will keep you engrossed from start to finish.
All the Missing Girls was my first encounter with Megan Miranda, and I cannot wait to spend more time reading her books. I have already added a few to my wish list. (Since I have a birthday around the corner) I loved how she told this story backwards, it made the book more gripping and had me curious to see where it would go. Her writing hooks you quickly and keeps you engrossed.
When Nic returns home to help her brother, Daniel, prepare the family home for sale she is drawn back to the past. Reliving her teenage years and reconnecting with her old boyfriend. She is reminded of the girl who disappeared, Corinne was her best friend. But when Annaleise, her younger neighbour, is reported missing Nic’s world spirals out of control. The past is repeating itself and Nic must find a way to keep her secrets hidden.
This book demands your attention. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. At the time I found myself a little lost in the timeline, but I blame that on my not giving this book the time it deserved. I would suggest the book if you are going to read more than one book at a time.
I focussed on this book over the last two days and once I gave it my full attention I was completely engrossed and caught up to the timeline easily. It’s a book full of twists and as the pieces fall into place, you realise the truth was in front of you all the time.
Nic starts the book appearing to be weak, she battles to focus on a task and I had the feeling the woman was a little spacy the way her mind keeps wondering. Yet as time moves on you are left with a completely different view of this woman. She is not who she appears to be, and there is a lot hidden until the end, Nic managed to surprise me, I loved that.
I had a lot of fun with this story and I cannot wait to spend more time reading Megan Miranda’s books. I have one sitting on my digital TBR and I have added a few more to my wish list. Now I just have to find some time in my schedule.
If you are looking for a complex, gripping read that is full of twists then escaping with this book would be ideal. It’s brilliantly creative and full of awesome characters. Expect the unexpected when you reach for this one. I am confident this book will keep you hooked.

The Last to Vanish
Ten years ago, Abigail Lovett fell into a job she loves, managing The Passage Inn, a cozy, upscale resort nestled in the North Carolina mountain town of Cutter’s Pass. Cutter’s Pass is best known for its outdoor offerings—rafting and hiking, with access to the Appalachian trail by way of a gorgeous waterfall—and its mysterious history. As the book begins, the string of unsolved disappearances that has haunted the town is once again thrust into the spotlight when journalist Landon West, who was staying at the inn to investigate the story of the vanishing trail, then disappears himself.
Abby has sometimes felt like an outsider within the community, but she’s come to view Cutter’s Pass as her home. When Landon’s brother Trey shows up looking for answers, Abby can’t help but feel the town closing ranks. And she’s still on the outside. When she finds incriminating evidence that may bring them closer to the truth, Abby soon discovers how little she knows about her coworkers, neighbors, and even those closest to her.
