That's a Wrap!
Just like that, the first quarter of 2026 is behind us. How are you doing with your reading goals?
I’ve found that now that both girls have moved out, I suddenly have a lot more time to myself—and I’m definitely reading more because of it. As I’m writing this post, I’m already on book number 45 for the year! I was a little nervous about increasing my reading goal at the start of the year, but I’m now feeling quite confident that I’ll not only meet it, but likely exceed it… as long as I can keep up this pace.
If you’re looking for a bit of motivation to reach your own goal—or simply searching for your next great read—here’s a quick recap of the books I reviewed on the blog this month:
BOOK OF THE MONTH
Picking a favourite this month has been nearly impossible. I’ve read so many fantastic books that choosing just one didn’t feel right—so this month, I’m choosing two!
It’s Not Her by Mary Kubica and 51% by Matt Witten (releasing on 28 April) both stood out for me. They are very different reads, but I enjoyed every second spent with each of them.
March has also been one of my busiest blogging months in quite a while, and April is already fully booked! I have some fantastic books lined up, so be sure to keep an eye on the blog for upcoming posts.
As always, a huge thank you to all my regular visitors. Your support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate you coming back time and time again.
That’s it from me—I’ll see you soon. Until next time… happy reading!
