That's a Wrap!
By the end of July, we usually start to feel a
shift in the weather as things slowly begin to warm up. But this year, winter
seems determined to overstay its welcome. I’ve spent most of the month tucked
away indoors, bundled up in far too many layers — luckily, I had a stack of
great books to keep me company.
July turned out to be my best reading month so far
— I made my way through seventeen books! That might be a personal
record. I suppose there really is a silver lining to cold, dreary weather.
On the blog this month, we shared sixteen
review posts. In case you missed any, here’s a quick recap:
BOOK OF THE MONTH
The Girl in the Doorway by Louise Mangos
Choosing a Book of the Month was a bit
tricky. Most of my five-star reads in July were older titles, and I like to
highlight something new. One book, however, really stuck with me. Even though I
rated it four stars, it left such an impression that I immediately went
searching for more by the author.
So, my Book of the Month for July is…
The Girl in the Doorway by Louise Mangos.
Looking ahead, most of the August reviews are
already lined up. You can expect to see books from Daniel Cole, David Jackson,
Steve Cavanagh, Jack Kerley, Lisa Jewell, and Sarah Bonner featured on the
blog.
As always, thank you so much for visiting and
supporting the blog — it truly means the world to me. I hope you discover your
next great read here.
Until next time… Happy Reading!

Lots of great books this month!
